Château de Grignan

A listed historic monument from the 12th to 17th centuries, it is a major centre of regional history, thanks to the privileged presence of Madame de Sévigné and her daughter, the Countess of Grignan, in their correspondence. It was also an extremely important place for the power of Count François de Castellane Adhémar de Monteil, "viceroy" of Provence from 1669 to 1714.
